GREEK FOR BEGINNERS – HERITAGE SPEAKERS & NEW LEARNERS (AGE 9-11)
Description: Through shared analysis of culturally relevant texts, issues, and scenarios, learners will focus on making meaning as a community and expanding the development of reading and writing skills in Greek. Learners are given frequent opportunities to practice in context-rich, authentic scenarios, as well as direct instruction on Greek grammar and conventions.
This class is intended for students who may have been exposed to Greek at home but who are considered to be at beginner level, or for new students of the Greek language.
Classes run from September to May. Students may join at any time between September and October 31st. Monthly commitment. Tuesday 6 p.m. – 7:15p.m.
