POLISH – HERITAGE SPEAKERS (AGE 10-14)
Description: Through shared analysis of culturally relevant texts, issues, and scenarios, learners will focus on making meaning as a community and expanding the development of reading and writing skills in Polish. Learners are given frequent opportunities to practice in context-rich, authentic scenarios, as well as direct instruction on Polish grammar and conventions.
This class is intended for students who have attended immersion programs or have been exposed to Polish extensively in the home and focuses on biliteracy as well as bilingualism.
Classes run from September to May. Learners may join at any time. Monthly commitment.
Thursdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. 1 hour class, one day a week.
